At 110 pounds COUNTRY BOY was known as a very aggressive Bulldog and according to Bill the reason he was available from Rayburn's yard. CB was worked hard by both novice and expert dog handlers. He never disappointed with regard to his defensive drive and output.

LADYBIRD was a daughter off Snowbird, one if not the best catchdogs ever, some claim she caught over 500 hogs, not sure

if that's true or not but most legends are based in truth. Ladybird like her mother was a great catchdog, would hit the hogs head on unlike Snowbird who might have been called graceful in her work.



SanDers KOMBAT



KOMBAT out of Country Boy x Ladybird is the the perfect combination of manstopper and catchdog. She was big 90 lbs in shape and 100 as she grew older. One of the bravest, boldest bulldogs I've ever owed. You could turn her on, ask her to protect the house and let her outside and she would search the yard, bushes, trees for threats. Worthy of her own strain.

Looking back, it's good to know, that some of the choices I made as a young man were pretty good. Combining Azlan, Vader Red, and Kombat bloodlines to make the KOMBAT Strain might be one of the better ideas. Bold, tough, extremely intelligent, with the ability to work, guard, and protect their family. A BLOODLINE created over 25 years. Unlike all other bloodlines, the KOMBAT Strain is "pure" meaning genetically sound and filtered from defects and flaws. Flaws other breeders hide with continuous outcrosses. Too often people focus on a bulldog's color as if this has any indication of working ability, health, and/or lineage or pedigree. It does not! I created a black line of bulldog simply because I chose to do so. I enjoy the complexity and science behind breeding.. Color is a secondary goal followed always by, in this order: Genetic clean bloodlines, intelligence, drive, and physically (thick hindquarters, square shape, and powerful bite.)
